Meet Miki

The photographer behind Still & Loved.

A family and motherhood photographer, a quiet observer, and a mum of two little ones, a two and a half year old and a five and a half month old, I know just how busy and chaotic family life can be. I know there are always a hundred other things to spend money on and a never ending to-do list waiting.

But I also know this: I've never once regretted booking photos with my own family.

Growing up, I didn't have family photographs to look back on, and it's something I've become especially aware of since becoming a parent. Now, documenting my own family is something I prioritize, even when life feels messy or the timing isn't perfect.

The years are moving faster than I ever imagined, and these photographs are a way of holding onto a little piece of them. That's exactly what I hope to create for the families I photograph too.

Motherhood made me notice everything differently.

How quickly routines become memories. How much love exists inside ordinary days. How the moments we think are insignificant are often the ones we ache for later.

And I also know how easy it is to end up missing from the photographs altogether.

One day these moments will have passed, but the photographs will remain.

A reminder to pause. To remember. To see the beauty in what was once ordinary.

Still and loved. Exactly as you were.

What brought Still & Loved Photography to life!

The name Still and Loved reflects this philosophy. “Still” represents presence. The pause within motion, the quiet within chaos, the moments we don’t always notice as they unfold. “Loved” speaks to what remains at the centre of it all. Connection, emotion, and the relationships that give these moments meaning.

I’m naturally drawn to a gentle approach during sessions. I’ll guide you where needed, but I never want you to feel like you have to perform for the camera. The most meaningful moments usually happen when people soften, slow down, and simply be together.

I created Still and Loved Photography to preserve family life honestly, not as perfectly styled moments, but as it genuinely felt to live them.

The connection.

The comfort.

The chaos.

The tenderness woven through everyday life.

Years from now, I don’t believe you’ll care whether everything looked perfect.

You’ll care about how it felt to hold them.

Based in Barooga, I photograph families, couples, motherhood, and in-home newborn sessions across Cobram, Yarrawonga, Tocumwal, Numurkah and surrounding areas

I'd love to hear from you...

If you feel drawn to my work and the way I document life, I would love to connect with you and create something meaningful together.
